The BUT Computer Science trains students over three years in the fundamentals of software development and information systems engineering. Five tracks: Application Development, Application Deployment, Data Administration / Management / Operations, Cybersecurity, AI and Data.
A state diploma at level 6 in high demand from IT service companies, SaaS publishers and in-house IT departments. Work-study common from year 2, with near-systematic hiring at graduation.
An apprentice's minimum pay is set by law as a percentage of the SMIC (French minimum wage), by age and contract year; it is the same for every job. The company's collective agreement may provide more.
